Tell us a little something about your first car. Do you have any photos you can share?
Submitted by tamara.
My first car was Rhonda, a 1970 Honda Civic. She was a hand-me-down from my older sister, but I loved her like she was new. I took 'ownership' of her a few months before I had my licence and would spend weekends cleaning and polishing what was left of the paintwork.
She wasn't the roomiest of cars, but that didn't stop us trying to fit as many people as we could into her. From memory the record was 11, including myself as driver.

What was the last wedding you went to? Were you in the wedding?
Last wedding we went to, was that of John's friend Gabriel and his lovely wife Ruby. I wasn't part of the ceremony, but John read at the church.
Nothing like a mix of cultures to make things interesting (Gabes is of Chinese background, Ruby of Greek background). Ruby's father bought her the most beautiful cheongsam to wear when they left for the honeymoon.

What's your morning beverage of choice? Coffee, tea, juice? Homemade or store-bought?
Weekdays it's definitely coffee, a long macchiato fresh from the machine at work. One of those fancy ones that grinds the beans and steams the milk, all at the touch of a button... we are so spoiled.
Weekends however, it's usually tea, preferably made by my boy and served to me in bed. Tastes better that way.

What magazines do you subscribe to, and why?
Next there is donna hay, this one is similar to delicious, though with more of a cookbook feel. Few too many seafood recipes for my liking, so we probably won't renew that subscription.
Finally, there is DNA. This one we get for the.... ummm... articles. That's it, the articles.....
There are a few others that we buy fairly regularly (usually because John-boy has slipped them into the shopping trolley when I wasn't looking), though these are the ones we get every month.

What do you usually do on Sunday?
Sunday in our house usually starts with breakfast. We try to alternate between going somewhere fabulous and staying in for some good old home cookin'. This week, we headed into the city to meet our friends Glen and Jason at the King Street Cafe (very disappointing... cold coffee, ordinary food and indifferent service).
After breakfast, we could be doing anything really. There's always plenty of housework to be done (assuming that we didn't finish that on Saturday), gardening, dog washing and general home maintenance. Having been renovating for near on five years now, there's always some project that needs to be finished.Late afternoon is usually cocktail hour (be it at home or elsewhere), with a gin & tonic being the order of the day. After that we may stay in for dinner or, more often than not, our friends Jo and Tim will invite us around for their traditional 'happy-family' roast.

What was the first movie you remember seeing in a movie theater?
Question submitted by mainmor.
That would have to be (the original, of course) Freaky Friday, starring little Jodie Foster. Who knew then that she would grow up to be the star she is today?
Do you have any tattoos? If not, if you were going to get inked, what would you get?
No tattoos here, not sure how some of those you see around are going to looking in 20+ years.... I've always liked those celtic (hmmm... or are they gealic?) cuffs you see around guys arms. Not that I would ever consider getting one, as I certainly don't have the arms for it. Would just look sad on me.

How cute were you as a baby/child? Let's see those baby pics!
How sad is this, I have no baby pics. There are plenty around, just all at my parent's place.
I can tell you however, that I was blue eyed with a head of blonde curls. So what happened???

What's your cell phone's ringtone? What made you pick it?
Now, my mobile (sorry, cell phone) is one of the basic models. It makes calls, SMS and that's about it. Nocamera, no mp3 player, nothing. Consequently, my ringtone is one of the stock-standard tunes, nothing fancy.
However... if I did have a phone worthy (and able) to play mp3 tones, then I would have the theme from Doctor Who. The 2006 series is currently playing over here (though someone may have seen all of the episodes by downloading them from the net, but I won't name names) and everytime I hear that opening music it reminds me of my childhood.
